New York Red Bull have signed Eric Alexander from Portland Timbers.
The 24-year old midfielder arrives at Red Bull Arena in exchange for allocation money after spending the past two seasons in Portland.
"Eric is a young midfielder who has earned a large amount of experience during his three years in Major League Soccer," Red Bulls Sporting Director Andy Roxburgh said.
"He can play a number of roles for us and we are pleased that he has joined the Red Bulls."
Alexander was signed by FC Dallas in 201 and has almost 70 games of MLS experience.
