NYCFC's Velasquez using ex-Barcelona star Villa as educational tool

Sebastian Velasquez has revealed that David Villa is his go-to man as well as New York City FC's.

The 24-year old midfielder is relishing having the former Barcelona and Valencia star as a teammate and is learning as much as possible from the star striker.

Former Real Salt Lake young gun Velasquez has settled well in New York and has indicated that a lot has to do with the influence of Spain's all-time leading scorer.

"Unbelievable person. All the success he's had and all that he's done, he's still as humble as can be," Velasquez told MLSsoccer.com.

"He's the guy I go to if I have any problems or if I need help with anything. I can learn incredible amounts of football from him."

Velasquez added: "We're actually really good friends. He's a guy who brings me sometimes to training or different places."
