New York Red Bulls are set to make an offer for Blackburn Rovers defender Darragh Lenihan.
The 27-year-old will be out of contract this summer, and has not committed to renewing with Rovers.
According to Football Insider, the Red Bulls want to tempt the Republic of Ireland international to move to the USA for the next few years of his career.
As the New York club takes part in its pre-season, they are already thinking about securing Lenihan on a free when his contract at Rovers expires.
Lenihan has played 238 times in all competitions for Rovers since signing in 2011 from Belvedere FC when he was only 17.
