Nurnberg's Drmic dreams of Arsenal buts denies deal

Josip Drmic has played down claims that he is set to join Arsenal in the summer.

Reports over the weekend suggested that the 21-year old FC Nurnberg striker had been in London with his wife looking at houses, prompting speculation that he could be on his way to the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season.

But Drmic, who has scored 16 Bundesliga goals since joining Nurnberg from FC Zurich last summer, refuted the claims despite the fact he would love to one day play for the Gunners.

"At the moment I am single and there is no one house hunting in London," he told Bild.

"What will happen in the future, I don't know. Any boy dreams about playing for Arsenal."

Drmic, who has a reported release clause of £5million, is contracted with der Club until June 2017.
