Wolves manager Nuno was proud of his players despite their 1-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday.

Sadio Mane's 42nd minute goal was enough to decide the match.

Speaking after the game, Nuno said: "In terms of performance, we did very well.

"We didn't start the game very well, but we were in control, knowing we were playing against a fantastic team with amazing players.

"We were able to control that and in the second half, we dominated certain moments of the game.

"It is hard, but the way the players did it – creating chances – is the work we have to do.

"This display of energy makes us very proud, of course."
