Nuno was disappointed in Wolves' wastefulness in the 1-0 loss to Braga on Thursday night.
Patrick Cutrone, Ruben Neves and Willy Boly all had chances to opening the scoring for the hosts, but it was ultimately Ricardo Horta's 72nd-minute strike that sealed a win for the Portuguese club.
"We are all disappointed. It was a tough game, but I think we did enough," Nuno said.
"We did not perform perfectly, but we created many chances.
"Braga had one chance, were very organised, and they scored.
"That is the story of the game.
"The boys worked hard, but that is football."
