Notts County manager Ian McParland has moved to extend the loan spell of Birmingham defender Krystian Pearce by a second month.

The 17-year-old, who arrived at Meadow Lane on November 8, scored the first league goal of his career as County beat Shrewsbury 2-1 at home at the weekend.

Magpies manager Ian McParland told the club's official website: "Krystian has done well with us and we are delighted he is staying on at Meadow Lane for another month.

"We have a busy Christmas schedule coming up and it is really pleasing that Krystian will be part of that."
