Nottingham Forest plot bid for Huddersfield midfielder Etienne Camara

Nottingham Forest are eyeing promising teenage Huddersfield Town midfielder Etienne Camara ahead of the January transfer window.

The Reds are among a trio of Premier League sides credited with an interest in the Huddersfield midfielder, and it is claimed they could “try their luck" when the window reopens.

Camara recently triggered a one-year extension to his contract with the Terriers, due to the number of appearances he has made. He is now tied down until the summer of 2024, but that might not stop Huddersfield from considering cashing in as they look for a new buyer for the club.

The 19-year-old reportedly has a £10 million price tag on his head. And while the Championship side could consider letting him go, a sale and loan-back is said to be their preferred option.

The Sun says Brighton and Leicester City are also keen.
