Nottingham Forest are moving for Chelsea youngster Billy Gilmour.

Scouts from the Championship side have been highly impressed with the 18-year-old midfielder who has recently broken into the first-team.

Boss Frank Lampard had previously ruled out a summer loan switch for the youngster because he felt his development was better suited in the academy.

But Forest manager Sabri Lamouchi will attempt to land him in January in a bid to bolster the club's promotion charge.

London Football News says they face stiff competition from Leeds who will also lodge a bid.
