Nottingham Forest are interested in Rangers sports chief Ross Wilson.
Forest are in the market for a new sporting director after this week's firing of Filippo Giraldi. The Italian was shown the door on Tuesday.
The Athletic reports Forest have already identified their preferred candidate.
And talks are now underway with Rangers about compensation for Wilson, who has been at Ibrox since 2019.
Wilson, 39, has a past with clubs such as Watford, Huddersfield and Southampton.
