Nottingham Forest defender Worrall stars in front of Everton scouts

Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall is interesting Everton.

The Sunday People says Everton are believed to have sent scouts to watch Worrall play against Liverpool in last night's FA Cup quarterfinal clash at the City Ground.

The 6ft 4" centre-back put in a commanding performance against the Reds, earning himself Man of the Match and Goodison staff were in attendance to keep a close eye on him.

Worrall, 24, has helped reverse Forest's fortunes in the Championship under manager Steve Cooper, with the Nottinghamshire club now on the edge of the play-offs and seeking a Premier League return.

Worrall has never played in the Premier League, but his performance on Sunday in the cup will do his chances of a move to Everton no harm whatsoever.
