Bayern Munich defender Omar Richards is a surprise target for Nottingham Forest.
The newly promoted Premier League club are assessing the youngster, who signed for Bayern from Reading a year ago.
He played 18 games last term, and is available for a fee of around £10 million, per the Daily Mail.
However, sources in Germany add that Richards would have to be convinced to leave Bayern permanently.
He is not first choice with the German giants, but is happy with his present situation, and would need a significant incentive to depart.
