The Daily Record is of the belief that Nottingham Forest are pondering a potential winter move for Kris Boyd.
The 30-year old striker, who had a brief loan spell at the City Ground in 2011, has netted 12 league goals for Kilmarnock so far this season.
Forest currently sit fifth on the Championship table and manager Billy Davies is reportedly keen to add some attacking depth to the likes of Darius Henderson, Jamie Mackie, Matt Derbyshire and Simon Cox.
