Nottingham Forest confirms Gustavo Scarpa in squad for Greece trip

Nottingham Forest have confirmed that Gustavo Scarpa will be in their squad when they travel to Greece.

The Premier League side are heading to Greece for a training camp as they prepare for the rest of the club season.

The one-cap Brazil international Scarpa, who officially signs for the club on January 1st, will train with the team until that date.

The 28-year-old will get ample chances to settle and mingle with his new teammates before he plays competitively for the club.

Forest will be hoping that Scarpa and other January signings can lift the team to survival.

Steve Cooper's side will hold a six-day training camp in Greece and play friendly games, before further training and friendlies in England prior to the resumption of the Premier League around Boxing Day.
