Nottingham Forest boss Mark Warburton was pleased with Kieran Dowell on debut against Millwall.

The Everton midfielder only joined on-loan last week and helped Forest to victory yesterday.

Warburton stated: “Kieran came on and showed a relaxed demeanour on the ball. He was calm and assured and I was delighted for him.

“The whole squad has been outstanding in pre-season and they know what we think of them. They are an honest group of players and they know we have to be good as a group."
