Nottingham Forest boss Lamouchi explains axing Man City goalkeeper Muric

Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi insists on-loan Manchester City goalkeeper Aro Muric remains in his plans.

Muric was relegated to the bench at the weekend as Brice Samba came in for Forest's 2-1 win at Fulham and was praised for giving confidence to the team.

“Aro is young; he is only 20 years old. He has huge quality and he will play again, don't worry about that," Lamouchi told the Nottingham Post.

“Just for this game, I needed more experience. We saw the experience from Brice. I was not sure about it. It was just my idea, my responsibility to make the right choice for the team.

“I put the best XI players out there. I will try to do the same on Tuesday. With the same result? I don't know. But hopefully we show the same spirit."
