Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper admits they face a massive week ahead.

Forest resume their campaign at home to Wolves on Saturday.

Cooper said: "It's about coming back together as quickly as we can. We are going into a three game week [with Wolves at home on Saturday followed by games at Leeds and Aston Villa], so we have to be as best prepared as we can.

"In the Premier League we were always going to be in this situation. Every team is in a situation where they are playing for something, that is the beauty and the essence of being at the top - we are not on our own.

"You go through every team this weekend and can ask a similar question. It was never going to be anything different to that.

"We wanted these moments - we have worked so hard over the last 18 months for moments and periods like this. We are looking forward to it and understand the importance of it. We relish the challenge and thrive on it. Pressure is a privilege and we will go for it."

Cooper also said of Wolves: "It's a really tough game. [Their squad is] full of really good players. You can see investment in that team, it is a squad full of talented players. That's what you expect in the Premier League. Wolves represent a really tough Premier League challenge.

"There is great context around it - one point between us - which adds to the occasion.

"It is a game we absolutely need to be ready for, but a game we want, a situation we want in terms of trying to have a positive impact on ourselves by getting the right result or outcome from the game.

"We've had two games already against them - in the League Cup and away in the league. They were two very different games. This will be different again, I'm sure, and hopefully we can have the right influence on the game to get what we want out of it."
