Not so fast; Ajax talks for Sulemana stall as Man Utd step in

Manchester United are back in for FC Nordsjaelland attacker Kamaldeen Sulemana.

Sulemana has visited Amsterdam this past week as Ajax enter negotiations with FCN about a price for the Ghana international.

However, long-term suitors United are now stepping in, reports Football Insider via Fotboll Transfers.

Indeed, negotiations between Ajax and FCN have stalled due to United's interference. The Danes are seeking €15-20m to sell, with coach Flemming Pedersen confirming they expect Sulemana to leave this summer.

United's Scandinavian scout Tommy Moller Nielsen has confirmed he's been watching the 19 year-old for over 18 months and regards him as the best young player in the region.

Sulemana has been a revelation for FCN this past season as he stepped up his game following last summer's sale of Mohammed Kudus to Ajax. During the last campaign, the goalscoring winger has scored ten times in 30 games for FCN and also produced eight assists.
