Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger had his scouts make a new check on AS Monaco winger Thomas Lemar.
The Sun says Lemar was watched by Arsenal scouts in action against Bordeaux.
The Frenchman got the second after Keita Balde's 57th minute opener to move four points behind Ligue 1 leaders PSG.
Wenger missed out on the £90million signing of Lemar in the summer.
And it seems he remains keen on the midfielder after having him again scouted this week.
However, club legend Robert Pires believes: “Arsene tried to buy Lemar, and tried very hard, but I don't think the move will happen now.
“I don't think he's worth £90m, it's too much, the market is crazy. What would Zidane and Ronaldinho be worth now?!"
