Manchester United legend Eric Cantona has further needled Neymar after a clash with his father on Wednesday night.

RMC has reported security services had to intervene at the Parc des Princes after Cantona and one of his friends made shushing gestures in the direction of Neymar's family and friends after United's dramatic win.

Neymar Snr was said to have taken exception to the gesture, deeming it insulting to the Brazil forward as well as the Parisian club.

He is reported to have made his way out of Neymar's box and towards Cantona's box to confront the duo, when security services were forced to diffuse the situation.

And now Cantona has posted to Instagram story a picture of Neymar alongside the caption: "Just like the barbecue, you take it out in the spring when the sun begins to shine."

The message is open to interpretation but it appears as though Cantona is suggesting Neymar is a fair-weather player.
