Norwich to suspend want-away Bournemouth target Grabban

Norwich City are set to suspend Lewis Grabban according to reports.

Sky Sports suggests the Canaries will ban the 27-year-old striker after he stormed out of the team hotel after not being selected in the starting XI for Tuesday night's Capital One Cup clash with Rotherham United.

Norwich boss Alex Neil said after the win over Rotherham that Grabban's situation would be quickly dealt with.

Grabban is a target for fellow Premier League newcomers Bournemouth, where he spent two seasons before moving to Carrow Road last summer.

The Cherries have had three bis rejected by Norwich for Grabban but still the former Crystal Palace, Millwall, Brentford and Rotherham forward is eager to return to Dorset.

Norwich have thus far opted not to confirm the news of Grabban's mooted suspension.
