Mattia Destro is set to leave Norwich City disappointed by opting against a move to England.
The 24-year-old Italian striker was being linked with a possible shock move to Carrow Road from Roma but it appears as though he is set to join Bologna.
Destro, who spent time on loan with AC Milan last season, posted on Twitter: "Today my new adventure begins at Bologna.
"I will give it my all to repay your faith! I'm comiiiiiing! #weareone #goals #assists "
Canaries boss Alex Neil last week revealed that Destro was a key target for the Norfolk outfit but it looks as though the Premier League returnees have missed out on their man.
