Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki admits he failed to settle at Sevilla as a young player due to the Spanish sun!
The Finn is being celebrated this week after his hat-trick in victory over Newcastle United, though admits his time with Sevilla wasn't the right fit.
Pukki, 29, recalled: At the end only one token of presence with the first team and confinement in the reserves, before returning to the homeland. Of that experience Pukki remembers: "I was a teenager and probably it was too big a step for me. I lived far from home and was very young, besides in Seville it was too hot compared to the climate I was used to in Finland.
"In the first weeks I didn't even have air conditioning in my apartment."
His mother took a year off from work to live with him in Seville.
"It was a help but I also suffered from the language. I was shy, much more timid than I am now. But living abroad helps you grow faster."
