Norwich striker Grabban flees Rotherham in bid to land Bournemouth move

Norwich City striker Lewis Grabban disappeared from the team hotel in Rotherham as he pushes for a transfer to Bournemouth.

A report in the Daily Mail suggests the 27-year-old went missing ahead of Tuesday night's Capital One Cup clash with Rotherham United after finding out he would be sat on the bench for the second round clash.

Grabban is the subject of a couple of bids from the Cherries, who he played with for two seasons prior to his shift to Carrow Road, but as yet the Canaries have not accepted the offers.

In a bid to force through the move, the former Millwall, Brentford and Rotherham forward up and left the team hotel without any knowledge from his teammates or the Norwich coaching staff, making it clear he wants out of Norfolk.
