Norwich smash five goals past hapless Gillingham

Norwich City showed their class against a hapless Gillingham side in a preseason friendly.

The Canaries, who are newly promoted to the Premier League, finally got back in action after cancelling two friendlies due to COVID-19 positive tests.

Fans were at Carrow Road for the game on Tuesday night, with close to 11,000 supporters watching the game against Gillingham.

Adam Idah scored twice in the game, while Pierre Lees-Melou was the one who opened the scoring.

Midfielder Todd Cantwell was heavily involved in the first goal, while he also set up one of Idah's strikes.

Jacob Sorensen and Lukas Rupp also netted for the Canaries.
