Norwich re-investing Buendia money in new signings

Norwich City are working hard to reinvest the £40 million they received from the sale of Emi Buendia into the first team.

The Canaries let go of their prized attacking midfielder to Aston Villa for a huge sum of money early in the summer window.

But they have also secured important signings of their own.

Their summer outlay so far includes Milot Rashica from Werder Bremen, Ben Gibson from Burnley, Dimitris Giannoulis from PAOK, Angus Gunn from Southampton, Pierre Lees-Melou from Nice and Billy Gilmour on loan from Chelsea.

The Canaries are still looking to complete a few more moves, per the Daily Mail, as they seek to avoid a repeat of the 2019-2020 season, when they went straight back down to the Championship.
