Championship outfit Norwich City are keen on signing free agent Steven Fletcher, according to reports from the the Daily Mail.

Fletcher was released by Sunderland at the end of last season following a loan spell at Marseille and unsurprisingly, a host of clubs are interested in securing the services of the striker this summer as he is currently available on a free transfer.

Reports suggest that Norwich have made an approach to sign Fletcher and are ready to hand the 29-year-old a whopping £30,000-per-week contract to spearhead the Canaries' attempts to return to the Premier League following their relegation last term.
