Norwich midfielder Mario Vrancic: We're not scared of Chelsea

Norwich City midfielder Mario Vrancic says his side are not scared of Chelsea.

The recently promoted club grabbed their first points of the season with a win over Newcastle United.

And Vrancic says the Canaries are ready for another fierce battle at Carrow Road.

"We are not afraid of names, definitely not. That is why we played so well last season because we feel we belong in this league, and we aim to stay here as long as possible," said Vrancic to the Evening News.

"A tough, tough game for us. They haven't started so well and I don't know if they might be under some pressure. We are going to focus on ourselves and try to play our football and go our way.

"Frank Lampard was the last manager to win here with Derby County so we hope he won't repeat this. We are looking forward to this game. You shouldn't fear any opponent, any team.

"We are playing in our living room and we need to try and get as many points as we can here.

"We can be happy with the start. We knew Liverpool was a tough place and the result was not what we wanted but in the second game you could feel something special was going to happen.

"It was a great day and we wanted to make the supporters happy and give something back. It is a long journey and we need to keep going."
