Norwich City have launched a bid for Chelsea midfielder Kasey Palmer.

Sky Sports says Norwich have made an offer to Chelsea to take Palmer on loan for the season.

Ligue 1 club Nice have also made contact with Chelsea with a bid to take the creative midfielder on loan.

The 21-year old, who played a key role in Huddersfield's promotion to the Premier League before a stint with Derby, is keen to sort his future and have a full pre-season with his new club.

It is understood arrivals and departures at Stamford Bridge have been put on hold while Antonio Conte's future is sorted.
