Norwich boss Glenn Roeder is keen to extend the loan stay of Birmingham City defender Martin Taylor.

The 29-year-old has impressed since arriving at Carrow Road earlier this month but is set to return to the managerless Blues on December 8.

Roeder said: "We have not discussed his situation.

"Obviously Birmingham have got their own problems with a change of manager.

"Steve Bruce has left but Eric Black is still there at the moment so I will put in a call to him later in the week to see what his thoughts are."
