Norwich hero Eadie convinced Hughton right appointment

Norwich City hero Darren Eadie expects Chris Hughton to maintain the club's progress this season.

Hughton has stepped in following Paul Lambert's move to Aston Villa.

The former England Under-21 winger told the Pink 'Un: "After the disappointment of losing Lambert, I think we've appointed someone who is more than capable of achieving the same if not better. After the previous season we're probably a little bit better prepared than this time last year.

"People talk about second season syndrome, but it's almost a new start again. We've got a new manager, new players coming in, it's like we're starting a fresh. I think they'll be all right."
