Norwich goalkeeper Krul fumes: Ref helped Arsenal and Ozil

Norwich City goalkeeper Tim Krul was fuming after their 2-2 draw with Arsenal.

Krul revealed he told Mesut OzilArsenal were 'lucky' after they were allowed to retake a penalty in their draw.

The Dutch keeper saved the initial spot kick from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after being booked for time wasting, but Max Aarons was deemed to have encroached in the box before it was taken.

Aubameyang then stepped up again to coolly send Krul the wrong way and taunt the shot stopper as part of his celebration.

It was something the Norwich keeper did not take kindly to, and he spoke about what happened in the aftermath in the post-match interview.

He told Sky Sports: “My job is to get into the strikers' head and get him to doubt. So I took a bit longer than what the referee liked and he gave me rightly the yellow card.

“I saved the first penalty so it was frustrating that it had to be re-taken.

"After they scored I just said to Ozil: 'you are lucky' because the referee helped them a lot there."
