Norwich City forward Kyle Lafferty has hilariously claimed he hopes to face either Argentina or Brazil at Euro2016.
The Northern Ireland striker was clearly relishing the moment following his country's qualification for next year's European Championships in France.
The 28-year-old, who scored seven goals in qualifying, could barely keep a straight face as he told a Sky Sports reporter of his ambition to face Messi and Neymar at the tournament.
“I think everybody's happy just to be there," Lafferty said.
“For me, if we get Argentina that would be unbelievable.
“We've played against Portugal and Ronaldo, so to play against Argentina and the chance to play against Messi, would be unbelievable.
“Or even Brazil. Neymar would be good to come up against. I'd like to test myself against Neymar, I'm not too sure how many goals he's scored in this campaign. It would be interesting.
“But obviously, it doesn't matter who we get, we'll go out and try and beat anyone. But for me it's Argentina or Brazil.
“We've never played against them so I'd like to get the opportunity now, in France."
