Norwich director Webber attracting attention from 'host of leading clubs'

Norwich City sporting director Stuart Webber is a target for several higher profile clubs in England.

According to the Daily Mail, Webber is admired by many teams for his work with the Canaries.

The 37-year-old is on a three-year contract that he signed in 2019, which expires in 2022.

Webber has aspirations to work at the very top of the game, while he even has an interest in working in Formula One racing at some stage of his career.

"I said at the end of last season I am very grateful to work here. It is a special club," he said in July during a press conference with manager Daniel Farke.

"No conversations have been had and I am not expecting to have any between now and the end of the (summer) window certainly. My position is not important.

"It doesn't affect the rhythm of what happens day-to-day. If it did, that would be different. It is probably more a conversation point outside the club."
