Norwich City defender Joseph Yobo has one eye on a place in Nigeria's World Cup squad.
Yobo has started Norwich last two Premier League games which has eased his path back into Nigeria's squad for a friendly against Mexico in March as national coach Stephen Keshi steps up his World Cup preparations.
"I spoke to the national team manager and we both know what I need to do," Yobo told the Pink 'Un. "I have to perform here and I can get my place back in the national team. I have been in it for so long and captaining my country was special for me.
"To go to the World Cup would be special but I am here now and my priority is Norwich City."
