Norwich continue with pursuit of Hull winger Brady

Norwich City are not letting up in their pursuit of Hull City winger Robbie Brady

Following Norwich's promotion to the Premier League, manager Alex Neil is looking to strengthen his side this summer and had identified Hull ace Brady as a prime target.

It was believed that the Republic of Ireland international could well join the Canaries due to the fact that he has only 12 months remaining on his current deal at the KC Stadium and Hull are desperate to raise funds upon their relegation to the Championship.

However, the Tigers are taking a tough stance on Brady and are not willing to allow the ex-Manchester United youngster to leave the club for anything less than £7million.

Norwich have already had a bid of around £3m rejected by Hull and the offer was branded as ridiculous by Steve Bruce. Despite the setback, Norwich are persisting in their pursuit for the Irishman and will place an improved bid in the coming days according to Neil.

Neil was quoted as saying: "We are working on things and I don't really like to get into individuals but as everybody is aware Robbie Brady is a player we like.

"We have made a few bids and there is interest but at the moment we have to wait and see what is going to happen."
