Norwich City boss Paul Lambert was instantly in contact with Tom Adeyemi after his incident at Liverpool on Friday.

Adeyemi is on-loan at Oldham Athletic from Norwich and was seen by a national audience driven to tears by alleged racist abuse coming from Liverpool fans.

"He is only a kid learning the game, one of the nicest lads you will ever meet," said Norwich manager Paul Lambert, who made a point of contacting Adeyemi after the incident. "He is a really intelligent lad."
