Norwich boss Hughton to use fringe players in FA Cup tie

Norwich City boss Chris Hughton is ready to turn to his squad players in Saturday's FA Cup third round with Fulham. "We'll certainly use the squad but that's more out of necessity because of players we have out," said Hughton.

"Some that have knocks will miss out and there's obviously also Leroy (Fer) who'll be out and Michael (Turner), who came off during the game yesterday.

"It's an opportunity to use the squad as well but with the main objective of making sure we go through."

One man guaranteed a start is record signing Ricky van Wolfswinkel, with Hughton adding of the Dutchman: "Ricky will certainly play. He has come on in the last few games and he would have done so at Crystal Palace, but Leroy (Fer) got sent off at that moment late in the game.

"He has had an introduction, if not starting, since the injury so the call to start him on Saturday is the ideal one."
