Norwich boss Farke hails Chelsea rival Tuchel: Among best on the planet

Norwich City boss Daniel Farke expects Chelsea to be as strong as ever tomorrow despite missing strikers Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner.

Farke spoke about Chelsea being without their injured forwards for Saturday's match.

"I don't think it's a positive when good players are out of the game," he said. "I hope Timo and Romelu can return soon. Chelsea always have a top-class solution to come in, like Kai Havertz, for example."

Farke also provided an injury update on his own squad, saying: "Christoph Zimmermann is still out and will have ankle surgery on Monday. We expect him to be out of training for six weeks.

"Of course Billy Gilmour is not available as he's on loan from Chelsea.

"Todd Cantwell has missed a lot of training sessions, so is not a topic for tomorrow. There is a process until he will be ready for the battles on Premier League level."

Thomas Tuchel will be in the opposite dugout on Saturday and Farke spoke highly of his former Borussia Dortmund colleague.

"Thomas is one of the greatest coaches on the planet and his CV speaks for itself," he said.

"We worked together at Dortmund. Now we have such a busy schedule that it's not always easy to meet for a coffee."
