Norwich City will appeal the red card received by Bradley Johnson in Tuesday night's 0-0 draw with Newcastle United.
The midfielder was sent off by referee Chris Foy in the 82nd minute of the Carrow Road stalemate after he was involved in a fracas with Magpies striker Loic Remy who was also given his marching orders.
Norwich posted the following on their Twitter page:
We can confirm that the Club have appealed against the red card received by Bradley Johnson in the 0-0 draw with Newcastle United. #NCFC
