Norwich able to look for quality in transfer market

Norwich boss Chris Hughton has said the club is now in a position were quality new players can brought in and improve the squad. The Canaries have been linked with multi-million pound moves for strikers Gary Hooper and Danny Graham, three years after being in League One.

"I think that comes with the progress of the club," said Hughton in an interview with BBC Look East.

"You'd like to think that over time the quality of the players, the quality of the squad and the team can improve."

"The management and the manager of this club over the last three years have been outstanding," the 54-year-old boss continued.

"It's for us to continue to give that stability and to make sure we stay in this division. With progress you also get progress of players.

"That has to be our objective and our ambitions."
