Norway coach Stale Solbakken has hit out at FIFA's technical chief Arsene Wenger.

The former Wolves manager has blasted Wenger for the ideas he plans to introduce to football and his support of the Qatar World Cup.

"It is scary with all the people we have looked up to in the football world," Solbakken said of the former Arsenal manager.

"I shudder when I see that the world's most intelligent man, Arsène Wenger, who has been looked up to all these years, has somehow been brainwashed and makes the stupidest statements.

"I am afraid that the polarization that is now happening will only get worse and worse."
