Northampton winger Kenji Gorre excited facing Man Utd in Cup

Northampton Town winger Kenji Gorre is excited facing former club Manchester United in the EFL Cup.

Gorre is currently on-loan at the Cobblers from Swansea City.

"To test yourself against Premier League opposition is great and we're facing top-class players, so it'll be tough," Gorre told MUTV.

"We might not have a lot of the ball but we're going into the match full of confidence and to work our socks off to try to get the win and cause an upset."

Gorre admits it will be special to come up against his old club but insists sentiment won't play any part.

"I wanted the game to be at Old Trafford but we've got them in front of our own fans and it'll be great to play against them. I try to embrace every chance I have," the 21-year-old added.

"I always like to get on my man and get the defender guessing. My aim is to score goals and hopefully I can score against United and get us through."
