North Queensland Fury buoyed by return of strike force

North Queensland Fury will welcome back a bevy of attackers for tomorrow night's Week 8 clash with Sydney FC.

The second-bottom Fury take on bottom-placed Sydney at the Sydney Football Stadium and will be buoyed by the return of Chris Payne, Dyron Daal, Isaka Cernak and Eugene Sseppuya.

Assistant coach Stuart McLaren is unsure how many of the foursome will come back in but said the presence of any of them will be a major boost after scoring just one goal in their past three matches.

"They do bring some quality when it comes to both creating and finishing chances," he told the Townsville Bulletin.

"It could be all four, it could be one, but I think there's a good chance it will be somewhere in the middle.

"It's great for us to have them back available to us and I think they will improve our chances of winning, so we have to seriously consider who we're going to bring in.

"But I certainly think two or three of those boys could find their way back into the match-day squad."
