Arsenal reserves coach Neil Banfield was happy to have summer signing Havard Nordtveit back in action for this week's 2-1 defeat at Birmingham City.

He told arsenal.com: "He did ever so well and it must be remembered that he hasn't played for a long time. He's stepped back in and was up against Mikael Forssell who is a real handful and he has acquitted himself really well."
