The agent of Loris Karius has denied claims Besiktas want to send the on-loan goalkeeper back to Liverpool.

After a difficult start to life at the Super Lig, it was reported Besiktas were attempting to negotiate a deal to send Karius back to the Premier League, with Divock Origi replacing him. The German is in the first season of a two-year loan with the Turks.

But agent Florian Goll has stepped in to completely end the rumours and declared his man is not going anywhere.

"Complete nonsense!" Goll said. "I wonder where such things come from. This news is absolutely untrue.

"Loris is on loan to Besiktas for 2 years, that's the situation. No intention to end this loan contract."
