Bolton midfielder Kevin Nolan has agreed to a deal to move to Newcastle according to reports.

Talks between the two clubs are believed to have commenced in what would be seen as a surprise move seeing as Nolan has spent his entire career with Bolton.

Magpies boss Joe Kinnear is in dire need of bolstering his squad after Michael Owen and Joey Barton sustained injuries earlier this week.
