Stoke boss Tony Pulis is adamant he did not try to sign Cardiff midfielder Joe Ledley on deadline day. Pulis dismissed the claims, telling the Stoke Sentinel, "I think everybody knows how much I like Ledley and I think he will eventually play in the Premier League.
"But we were looking for a different type of midfielder this time, one we missed out on."
