Liverpool are in no rush to sign Ki-Jana Hoever to a professional contract.
The 16-year-old made his first-team debut as a substitute in the FA Cup third-round loss to Wolves earlier this month.
This shouldn't be a cause for concern to Liverpool fans, however.
According to the London Evening Standard, the Reds have a close relationship with Hoever and his representatives.
Both parties agree that the Dutchman's future belongs at Anfield and they will wait for the right time to negotiate a deal.
Hoever rejected the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea to sign with Liverpool in September 2018.
