Blaise Matuidi has emerged as a target for a few Premier League clubs this summer but none of them have yet made an offer.
Liverpool and Arsenal have already been linked whilst Newcastle United are reported to be showing plenty of interest in the 24-year old midfielder.
Matuidi admitted the interest was flattering but said at this stage he will remain a St Etienne player.
"They are one of the big clubs in England but, like I said, it is all rumours at the moment, but you never know," he told skysports.com.
"I am flattered by the interest from clubs abroad, and I have always loved the Premier League.
"It is the best league in the world, so exciting, and I really want to be part of that one day, however, St Etienne has its say about that."
